WE OWN OUR FUTURE

We don’t normally respond to negativity; it’s just not how we operate. We’d rather focus on making great cider and moving the craft forward. But since there’s been some confusion out there, here’s the truth:

We wanted, and needed, more for our brand.
For years, we were restricted by a production setup that slowed innovation and limited quality improvements. We’ve always had big ideas, and it was time to build a home worthy of them. So, we made the bold decision to invest in our OWN facility. We now have full ownership of our future, and that changes everything. New facility, new methods, new ingredients, new ciders, and, in turn, the best ciders we have ever crafted.

Meanwhile, others are now releasing older versions of products we’ve long since evolved past, under a brand that feels…strangely familiar. Imitation may be flattering. But progress? Progress is powerful.

We never expected our breakup to take such an ugly turn. Yet here we are, facing legal threats and loud accusations from a former partner claiming we have stolen recipes, we are going out of business, and much more misinformation. So, what’s the issue? We were in a shared production arrangement, and it ended. It’s the old, “if we can’t have you, no one can” mentality. When we decided to take full control of our production, we were met with threats to “go nuclear” - sue us out of business and destroy the company we’ve worked 10 years to build. This made it crystal clear that taking steps towards real independence was the right choice. Who would have thought a generic product name or a barcode would constitute a recipe? But those are the things we are arguing about.

We have adapted. Fast. Eighteen months of pipeline changes compressed into what felt like overnight. Reinventing our tried-and-true products wasn’t a setback; it was an opportunity. With new processes, new people, new equipment, and full control of our facility, improving our products wasn’t just exciting…it was inevitable.

We say it all the time: DRINK MORE CIDER. The cider community in the PNW is special. It’s growing, filled with people passionate about making great cider, and cider makers dedicated to setting trends that push the cider industry forward. Spreading rumors about a competitor & devoting time to doing anything possible to get a brand out of the marketplace is bad business, and bad for the industry as a whole. And we’re not the first ones who have been on the receiving end of this.

Our transition represents exactly what we’ve worked for: the freedom to evolve, the space to innovate, and the ability to build what comes next.

We’re not interested in re-creating what we did yesterday. We’re here to make the best cider we’ve ever made, on our own terms.

Our mission is simple: Make Incline Cider the best it has ever been. New ciders, new ideas, a whole new era. If you’ve been building this with us for the first decade… Wait until you taste the next one. 🍏✨

Family-owned. Future-focused. Fully in control.
